General
The contents of the Klavels web site, the Klavels Terms and Conditions, and all contracts formed between Klavels and persons purchasing items from Klavels ("the purchaser") shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with English law.
Purchasing Items from Klavels
All items are priced in pounds sterling and Klavels will bill the purchaser in this currency only. By clicking the "Continue Checkout" button on our payment provider's on-line payment secure server, the purchaser is offering to purchase items from Klavels at the price(s) stated, subject to Klavels Terms and Conditions. All items are subject to availability and Klavels shall not be liable for any claims for compensation, nor for damages arising due to being unable to supply goods to the purchaser. Every item is handmade to order. Klavels will send confirmation to the purchaser of the order and payment. Klavels require a minimum of six weeks unless otherwise discussed or agreed with the purchaser. Please call before you order if you need an item urgently.
Postage, Packing and Delivery
Postage and packing is a minimum of £10 for special delivery - which guarantees delivery by Royal Mail before 1:00pm the following week-day anywhere within the UK - and includes full insurance for the item(s). Please ensure someone is available to sign for the package as the purchaser will be liable for the costs of re-delivering the package, if applicable. Overseas orders will be despatched by Airmail - Klavels will agree a delivery charge with the purchaser before the transaction takes place. Klavels is not responsible for industrial action by Royal Mail, nor any of it's sub-contractors.
Returns
All items are hand made to the highest standards and are thoroughly checked before despatch. Klavels is therefore unable to accept returns unless the package has been damaged in transit. Please do not sign for the package if there is any sign of damage as Klavels can neither claim compensation from the carrier, nor send a replacement item or items, if a damaged package has been signed for by the purchaser or anyone acting on the purchaser's behalf. Please notify damaged packages immediately by calling Klavels on 07971 340636.
Design Changes and Changes to Web site Design and Content
Klavels reserves the right to change, withdraw or amend details of prices and products without prior notice. All measurements shown are approximate. Please note that no two items of jewellery are the same. Should a natural material, handmade bead, fastening or finding become unavailable, Klavels reserve the right to interchange compatible materials to maintain the integrity of designs. Should Klavels find there to be an error in a price or description when an order is processed, Klavels will contact the purchaser to notify the correct details before the purchase proceeds.
Variations in Natural Products
Although Klavels gives an accurate representation of each item on its web site, freshwater pearls and gemstones are natural products and variations in size, texture and colour can and will occur. Items supplied may therefore differ slightly from the images shown. Klavels cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the user's browser software and/or computer operating system.
Safety and Care
Klavels accepts no liability nor responsibility for any injuries caused due to the misuse of items purchased. Due to the small pieces used in Klavels creations, some items may not be suitable for children under 5 years old and Klavels recommend adult supervision at all times. Avoid getting hair spray and styling products on your tiara, hairpins and hair accessories as this will tarnish the metal and may damage the parchment flowers. Items should be covered with tissue paper or other protective shield before spraying.
